A: Yes. If the sensor's mounting orientation causes the display to appear upside down, the displayed information can be rotated 180° via the menu for easier reading.

Q: Is the PN7071 overkill for an application requiring only a few dozen bar?

A: Not necessarily; it depends on the setting range for the switch points.

The PN7071 allows the switch point (SP) to be set starting from 2 bar, with a minimum reset point (rP) of 1 bar.

Therefore, it is suitable even for low-pressure applications.

However, please note: if the application requires measuring very low pressures (below 1 bar), this model is unsuitable; you should consider a model with a lower measuring range (such as the PN2xxx series).

Q: How do I set the output delay?

A: The PN7071 supports programmable switching delays ranging from 0 to 50 seconds. There are two parameters:

dS (switch-on delay): The output switches on after a delay of dS seconds once the pressure reaches the SP.

dr (switch-off delay): The output switches off after a delay of dr seconds once the pressure drops to the rP.
